Ploughshares is a literary journal published by Emerson College in Boston. Showcasing high-quality fiction, poetry and non-fiction, the iconic triannual is an extremely competitive market, receiving over one thousand submissions a month.

Poetry Sought

"We seek work of the highest literary quality, but otherwise do not have any specific guidelines for style or subject matter." Submit one to five poems; translations welcome.
