About
River Styx was founded nearly forty years ago by a group of poets and musicians in St. Louis, Missouri. The triannual publishes poetry, fiction and essays alongside artwork, and releases one theme issue per year. The award-winning magazine, funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and several other arts organizations, also hosts conferences, workshops, and contests for poetry and fiction.
