About
The Dark Mountain Project recently issued invitations to the "Earth Funeral Memorial Service" - to take place in 2039 - and its menifesto, Uncivilization, runs along similarly apocalyptic lines. The Project welcomes fiction, essays, poetry, art and "non-categorizable" works that reflect today's ecological collapse. Published twice a year in the UK, the professionally designed and typeset hardcover anthologies are "around 300 pages long, with colour plates", and are printed on FSC-certified paper.

More About The Dark Mountain Project
"The Dark Mountain Project is a network of writers, artists and thinkers who have stopped believing the stories our civilisation tells itself. The Project grew out of a feeling that contemporary art and literature were failing to respond honestly or adequately to the scale of our entwined ecological, economic and social crises."
Established 2010.
