Poetry in the Mainstream

Waterways is produced by the Ten Penny Players, a New York-based organization that promotes populist, accessible poetry within impoverished communities. The saddle-stitched monthly, which was first funded by the National Endowment for the Arts over thirty years ago, is a very welcoming market for emerging writers.

Poetry Sought

"Poems that appeal to an inclusive audience of life long readers" and relate to the monthly theme.
